Dr. Bridges is an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Division of Physical Therapy, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, School of Medicine. She completed her professional training in physical therapy at the University of Florida in 1970 and earned a MMSc in Physical Therapy (1985) from Emory University and a EdD in Education (2003) from the University of Georgia. Patricia has 30 years experience coordinating clinical education and facilitating clinical faculty development. Her experiences range from CI to CCCE to DCE. Patricia is a credentialed clinical instructor and is a certified trainer of clinical educators for the American Physical Therapy Association. Her research and teaching interest include adult learning, clinical education, reflective practice, transfer of learning and diffusion of evidence-based practice.
