Laura Zajac-Cox, PT, DPT, NCS received her physical therapy degree in 1992 from the Medical College of Georgia. She worked in acute care practice for 5 years prior to moving to Atlanta to specialize in neurologic rehabilitation. She joined the Emory Healthcare team at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine in 1997. She has been actively involved in teaching in the Emory University Physical Therapy Program since 2001. She received her board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2002 and was recertified in 2012. In 2012, she accepted a full time faculty position with Emory University in the Division of Physical Therapy where she teaches Adult Neurorehabilitation and serves as the director of the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program.
She received her PT degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1992 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University in 2014.
