Elizabeth Frierson, PT, DPT, OCS, CLTDr. Frierson serves as the Clinical Director of the Faculty Practice located within the Neurosciences department of The Emory Clinic. Additionally, she assists with the orthopedic residency program offered through the Emory University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Currently she is building a Cancer Rehabilitation program which will offer lymphedema treatment as well.

Prior to joining Emory University, Dr. Frierson served as the Clinical Director for Premier Rehabilitation Clinic based with the Orthopedic Associates Medical Group in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She has experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, manual therapy, and wound care.

Dr. Frierson received both her Master’s of Physical Therapy and her Bachelors of Science in Pre-Professional Health Services from the University of South Alabama. She completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of South Florida. In 2010 she received her Specialist’s Certification in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Most recently she obtained her Lymphedema Therapist Certification through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.
