Dr. Randy Trumbower Receives Two-Year Research Funding

In April, faculty member Randy Trumbower, PT, PhD, received two-year funding from the Craig Neilsen Foundation to study induced somatic motor functional recovery in persons with incomplete spinal cord injury. In Dr. Trumbower’s lab, functional recovery is induced by harnessing the capacity for spinal plasticity, particularly plasticity induced by repetitive exposure to acute intermittent hypoxia.
