DPT faculty Kathy Lee Bishop, PT, DPT have been elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Physical Therapy.

DPT faculty Kathy Lee Bishop, PT, DPT have been elected as a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) in Physical Therapy. A Distinguished Fellow in Policy within NAP is a very high honor that acknowledges her outstanding achievements and her collaborative efforts in the interprofessional community to influence and promote national health policy. Dr. Bishop will join NAP in On March 2020 in San Diego, CA for the Annual Meeting & Forum and the formal induction ceremony. This year’s forum title is “Innovations in Interprofessional Collaboration: Scholarship, Practice and Advocacy.” The sessions will focus on the themes of advocacy for interprofessional collaboration, interprofessional practice models for population health, and person-centered quality healthcare.
