The orthopaedic residency program was established in 2012. Through this residency training, it allows physical therapists advanced training in the field of orthopedics in which they are then able to sit for a board certification through the APTA and obtain the certification of OCS.
The Neurologic Residency Program at Emory University has been developed to provide a concentrated experience to clinicians interested in pursuing specialty practice in neurologic physical therapy. The program is designed to prepare residents to sit for the examination and become board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialists.
The Emory University Acute Care Residency Program is a recognized developing program preparing for candidacy submission. The program strives to provide clinical experience across the continuum of acute care settings, didactic material, and research opportunities for development of advanced clinical practice and critical thinking.
